10 Days!

Well it's been awhile.
 But we couldn't be more
excited that there are only...
10 MORE DAYS
Until Matt & I Get Married!

You can imagine how the days apart have
been getting longer and longer. We are so excited
and can hardly wait to start our life together!

Matt has been busy getting our new apartment together! It is beautiful!
We were so fortunate to get a great deal on a two bedroom, two bath
brand new apartment! My only hope was that there would be a nice
big closet for me, and there just happens to be 2 walk-ins and more!
The Kitchen is huge and we're just so excited to make it our own!

I'm busy finalizing everything for a wedding, and getting my parents
house all set to decorate. It's been a long process!
We're having a black & white theme and everything is looking
so beautiful! I can't wait to see the finished product!
and then it's off to the Virgin Islands for our honeymoon

We will share photos with you all soon!

And We're Back!

Hey there! I (this is Marianne) just got back from South Carolina today! I can't tell you how wonderful of a trip it was!!! Matthew's family (which I met for the first time, last week), was; gracious, kind, loving, accepting, hilarious, and just down right wonderful! Fun memories were definitely made! I loved every minute of my trip.
We went to the beach, played tourist around the island of Hilton Head, went shopping, dinned at some of the best restaurants, baked, cooked and laughed together, it was glorious! I am so lucky to marry into such an amazing family! I love them so much.

Long Distance Love

Thank you modern technology for providing us with the means to see
eachother daily! Although apart for now, we are enjoying time with
our families. We literally had not spent 1 day apart since starting to
seriously date, so our seperation anxiety was kind of high at first.

But thanks to Skype and unlimited calling (thank you to our Dads, lol)
we talk all the time, and are always laughing and smooching (ew!) over
the phone!

And here I am. I’m glad to say our first Thursday has arrived and it is my chance to mention a few things. As Marianne said, she is still in Washington while I am back in South Carolina and although it’s only been a few weeks away from each other, I can say its been a few weeks too many. I miss her dearly and can’t wait for her to visit me next week here in Hilton Head Island.

South Carolina (also known as the low country and by the locals who call it the “slow country” for its laid back living) has been my home for the last few years as my family relocated from Maine once I started going to BYU Idaho. Maine will always be the place I call home but Hilton Head has taken on a new chapter in my life and one that I can’t wait to share with Marianne. I’ve been home a little over 2 weeks now and today was my 2nd trip to the beach. Regardless of that which happens elsewhere, the beach is always a favorite place of mine to go and worry no more. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon if you ask me.

Hello Seattle and the Pacific Northwest

Disclaimer: We realize these post are not up to date, but we promise once we tell you the good stuff, they will be!

OH MY HECK! The month of April has been such a busy one for us. First, I graduated from college (WAHOO) yay for degrees :), Second both Matt and I moved back home (him to South Carolina, and me to Washington) until we get married in June. This meant...packing up our lives in Idaho and driving all of our stuff to Washington. Matt luckily only had two suitcases that easily fit into the trunk of my car, I however packed that car to the brim, and we were off on our 14 hour drive to my parents house. Poor Matt drove mostly the whole way, while I enjoyed catching up on missed sleep in the passenger seat! LOL (What a guy!)
While he was here we got to do SO many fun things together. Here are the pictures from our adventures.

At Pike Place Market with the Famous Fish Throwing

On top of the Space Needle!

 Kayaking on the Puget Sound
Underground Seattle at the Gum Wall

We hope you continue to follow us! :)
